With its innovative timing mechanism, the Singer Reimagined Divetrack watch is a divers wristwatch like no other. Featuring ingenious solutions to ensure safety during and after diving, the diving functions of the watch take priority over the time indication, lending unparalleled uniqueness to the dial arrangement of this astounding timepiece. Presented in a complex 49mm Grade 5 Titanium case topped with a unidirectional steel bezel, and capable of a water resistance to 300m, the watch is powered by a precision Proprietary Agenhor Manufacture AgenGraphe automatic calibre, and is released in a limited edition of only 25 pieces in 2024.
An exceptional proposition, the Singer Reimagined Divetrack watch is a triumph for this independent watchmaking company. Having previously rewritten the rules of how we use and integrate with the chronograph mechanism, Singer turn their attention to the dive watch category with their stunning Divetrack watch. Working alongside Agenhor, the acclaimed specialist horologic design company, they have created a fully functional divers watch with the chronograph indicators on a single axis, and a peripheral time display that defies the conventional dial side layout of other timepieces in the genre. Adding further to its usability, and in addition to timing dive sessions, the segmented components on the dial allow the wearer to safely time their rest times between dives, and importantly the optimum period after diving to allow for a safe onward flight home or to their next destination.
Despite its toolish capabilities, the Divetrack is incredibly stylish too, with a sculpted and beautifully finished sandwich-style case of Grade 5 titanium featuring openworked lugs. It wears at a width of 49mm, and its height of 19.67mm gives a hint of the unusual time display that is tucked neatly at the periphery on the lower case. Intuitive to use, and fully visible through the central sapphire crystal ring built within the case, the time is read via a luminous triangle on the case side. The chunky unidirectional bezel and crown are of marine grade stainless steel, and the crown guard which is coated with vivid red ceramic pivots outward to enable start and stop for the chronograph mechanism. At the 10 o’clock, the reset button is only operable after the chronograph has been stopped for added safety, while the helium escape valve is at the 8 o’clock.
Uniquely, the matte black dial is entirely devoted to the 24-hour central chronograph. The jumping hand for the minutes is robust and highlighted in bright orange, while the central lume tipped seconds hand sweeps to give instant assurance to the diver that the timer is operable beneath the depths. A unique trio of segments at the centre denoted Chill/Dive/Fly give the user an additional layer of safety. In addition to the ‘Dive’ timing, this highly insightful feature ensures safety between each session by timing the requisite break between diving of six hours marked ‘Chill’ and most unusually, by resetting the timer after surfacing it will time the advisory 18 hours between completing a dive and taking a flight, marked with ‘Fly’.
Unique in architecture, and viewable through the sapphire glass caseback, the automatic winding AgenGraphe movement by Agenhor is extraordinary. With clever positioning of the rotor beneath the dial, the labyrinthine components of the centrally positioned chronograph mechanism are fully revealed inviting further inspection. Comprising of 479 parts and demonstrating immaculate finishing throughout, the calibre beats at 21’600 vib/h and is equipped with a power reserve of 72 hours.
The Singer Reimagined Divetrack is presented on a black rubber strap with folding buckle, with an additional Velcro-fastening textile strap supplied. The model is strictly limited to only 25 pieces in 2024
