Romain Jerome MoonFighter Pen collection

At The Limited Edition we are always on the lookout for the rare and unusual, and occasionally we discover items which are a perfect complement to our extraordinary timepieces and of course, delightfully engaging curiosities.

From Romain Jerome, manufacturer of high-end horologic exotica comes the out of this world MoonFighter collection of pens. As with all RJ creations, it is beautifully made, and of course is there is little else with which to draw comparisons, and as it rests in its cradle, the entire ensemble resembles a futuristic flight of fancy, as might have been envisaged in the 1930’s.

Taking for its inspiration the first commercial transatlantic airliners of the era, MoonFighter’s ‘fuselage’ has been manufactured in a choice of black, matte or a weathered vintage finish and as is typical of the brand, the attention to detail is outstanding - even down to the applied riveting, which truly captures the authentic design of the aircraft of the time, and also leaning on how we foresaw space flight vehicles.

The top features a cockpit bubble which sits forward of the tail fin, and as is the signature of Romain Jerome and the DNA concept, each one contains a fragment of genuine moon dust making this pen ever more of a conversation piece.

The MoonFighter pen is available in either nib or roller ball point designs and whether in use, or sitting in its docking station makes an excellent desk adornment, ready for take off!
