Combining technical complexity with exquisite métiers d’art craftsmanship, the dial of the Trilobe Nuit Fantastique Brume Rose Gold watch exhibits both Clous de Paris and Grain d’Orge guilloché techniques, on a dial crafted to display the time without the use of traditional watch hands.

A timepiece of unparalleled finesse, and beautifully executed throughout, the new Trilobe Nuit Fantastique Brume Rose Gold watch is housed in a rounded rose gold case, with the option of a 38.5mm or 40.5mm diameter, with a height of only 9.2mm. The model is equipped the X-Centric self-winding calibre, designed and developed exclusively by Trilobe, and inscribed for the first time with ‘Paris - France’ in honour of the company’s recently inaugurated Paris watchmaking workshop. Beating at 28’800 vib/h, the calibre is equipped with micro rotor deriving a power reserve of 48 hours, and fully disclosed through the sapphire crystal caseback, the darkened components, and the immaculate refinement of the finishing can be appreciated.

The visual highlight of the watch is the mesmerising guilloché work on the fixed portion of the dial, which is rendered in a wonderfully muted tone which blurs an artistic line between grey and brown shades, creating a mist-like hue beautifully described in French as ‘Brume’.

The hours are located on a ring at the dial edge that turns counterclockwise to align with the splendid little Trilobe emblem at the 12 o’clock position. Leaving an abundance of guilloché surface to enjoy, two recessed interlocking rings on the left of the dial embrace to form the symbol for infinity, with the minutes in the upper section, the seconds in the lower, and a petite triangular pointer that serves as a reference for both. Echoing the thought provoking motion of the hour ring, the rotation of the minutes and the seconds also run counterclockwise with each numeral crafted in eloquent script. Both indications are displayed in increments of five, and while the minutes slip by gracefully, the seconds add subtle dynamism to this otherwise tranquil façade, as they rotate upon a disc decorated at its centre with a Clous de Paris motif.
