Schwarz Etienne 1902 Petite Seconde 4N Gold Dial brings together refined elegance and in-house Swiss engineering. Encased in Grade 5 titanium, the 39 mm case is just 10.90 mm thick, offering a slim, contemporary profile with a mix of satin-brushed and polished finishes. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment ensures clarity, while a water resistance rating of 5 ATM (50 m) provides everyday practicality. The 4N gold-toned dial showcases Schwarz Etienne’s distinctive “wall light” finishing. A grained central section contrasts beautifully with the opaline finished hour ring, while a crisp minute track and diamond-shaped edging enhance depth. At 6 o’clock, the petite seconde subdial lends balance to the composition. Time is indicated by lancine-style, silver-plated hands for hours and minutes.
At its heart beats the Calibre ASE 300.00, an automatic in-house movement equipped with a micro-rotor. Operating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), the calibre offers an extended power reserve of 86 hours. Visible through the exhibition caseback, the movement is meticulously finished, featuring six bridges with polished angles, a sandblasted mainplate, a chevron-patterned micro-rotor, and a ratchet wheel with sunray decoration and hand-polished teeth. This architecture highlights both technical sophistication and artisanal detail. Completing the timepiece is a brown alligator leather strap with a black rubber lining, secured by a titanium ardillon buckle engraved with the Schwarz Etienne logo. This edition of the 1902 Petite Seconde captures understated luxury, balancing modern materials, elegant proportions, and the brand’s signature manufacture movement.
