A hand-manufactured Swiss wristwatch by independent watchmaker Philippe Narbel, presented in a 40mm cushion-shaped 5N gold case, on a leather strap with a pin buckle, in a limited first production of 20 examples. Sapphire crystal over black PVD dial with a unique veined silver centerpiece and skeletonised gold hour and minute hands. Transparent exhibition caseback revealing reconstructed Peseux 7001 manual winding movement, with in-house bridges and plates, and 42 hour power reserve at 21’600 vib/h (3Hz).

The debut watch from one of independent watchmaking’s rising stars, the ROOTS first edition by Philippe Narbel of Narbel & Co is a remarkable piece of minimalist elegance and intricate detail, which blends classic horologic architecture with contemporary styling, sharp angles with soft curves, and which features at its centre, a uniquely textured metallic fingerprint.
