Decidedly modern, yet crafted to capture the charm of the golden age of motor racing, the Reservoir GT Tour Racing steel watch edition brings a textured carbon fibre dial to the portfolio of the exciting independent watchmaking company. Featuring a proprietary retrograde minutes and jumping hour complication, this outstanding model has a distinctive dial arrangement that enables intuitive time reading. Innovative in execution, and brimming with retro-style character this superb model is powered by a precision self-winding mechanical movement endowed with the company’s own patented complication module.

Inspired by instrument dials and gauges from the past, Reservoir watches blend French design with innovative Swiss watchmaking. An excellent find for those with and appreciation for a unique blend of contemporary and vintage racing styling, Reservoir watches feature retrograde minutes and jump-hour displays enabled by their own patented proprietary 113 piece module.

Manufactured from 316L stainless steel with a satin and polished finish, the case of the Reservoir GT Tour Racing Steel is sized at 43mm across and wears on a handsome steel bracelet with brushed finishing. Adding a sense of drama to the model, the dial of the watch is crafted from a sliver of woven carbon fibre upon which anthracite, red and white indications reinforce the sporty personality of the watch. From the centre, the retrograde minutes hand reaches beyond its scale, flicking back to zero when it reaches the ‘6’, while at the same moment, the hour numeral, rendered in black upon a white background instantly advances within its own framed aperture. Accompanying the time indications a cool little arc shaped gauge on the lower dial keeps check on the reserve of power.

Uniquely, the sapphire crystal aperture on the caseback follows the dial side design codes, offering a partial glimpse of the calibre RSV-240, which is based on the superb LJP-G100 by La Joux-Perret. Beating at 28’880 vib/h, the self-winding movement has a power reserve of 56 hours.

A piece which is characterised by design finesse, and uniqueness, the GT Tour Racing watch by Reservoir comes presented on a stainless steel bracelet, with an additional NATO strap supplied.
