The Czapek Quai des Bergues “Sursum Corda” is an anniversary edition timepiece crafted in 18K rose gold with a 40.5 mm case, designed to balance modern wrist proportions with classical elegance. Its pristine white grand feu enamel dial features elongated Roman numerals and refined hands, while discreet details add symbolic depth: the Latin phrase “Sursum Corda” (“Lift up your hearts”) is hidden beneath the enamel, visible only under certain light angles, and a laser-engraved “10 / 180” logo commemorates the brand’s dual anniversaries—180 years since its founding and 10 years since its revival.
A small seconds subdial at 7:30 conceals a reproduction of François Czapek’s historical signature, reinforcing the model’s heritage. Inside beats Czapek’s proprietary manual-winding movement with double barrels, delivering a 7-day (168-hour) power reserve. Inspired by 19th-century pocket watch architecture, the calibre features symmetrical layout, open ratchets, and haute horlogerie finishing such as circular graining, hand-chamfered bridges, and sand-blasted surfaces.
