Released in a limited edition of only 99 pieces, the watch features a mirror caseback, a world first in watchmaking, and the brand’s latest in-house skeletonised manual winding movement. A timepiece that blurs the lines between art and horology, the components of the calibre appear as if suspended on the dial side creating a spectacular sense of depth. Positioned on the left, the Stairway To Heaven escapement is clasped beneath an exquisite labyrinthine of slender, curving hand-beveled bridges with the pair of barrels placed in parallel located on the right where they deliver a smooth release of energy of up to 72 hours. The sword-shaped hands for the hours and minutes are joined by a central seconds hand, while at the periphery the markers are laser engraved on to the underside of the sapphire crystal. The model is presented in a beautifully styled curvaceous 40mm grade 5 titanium case, finished with micro bead frosting that enhances its profile, and a transparent DLC coating that promises protection to its silky matte surface. The spectacle continues on turning the piece over, where an opaque glimpse of the rear of the calibre is revealed through the one-way mirror, adding a unique, mysterious aesthetic to this exceptional piece.
