TIME EATER II DUSK TO DAWN (39mm)

PRICE ON REQUEST

Following on the heels of the über-successful first series that has been nominated for the 2023 Grand Prix d’Horologerie de Genève, the Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin Regulator Time-Eater II From Dusk to Dawn’ 39mm watch presents an unmissable opportunity for the discerning collector.

Edgy, playful and utterly compelling, the Louis Erard x Konstantin Chaykin Regulator Time-Eater II From Dusk to Dawn’ 39mm watch promises endless fascination. This highly desirable proposition is the second in a series of collaborative pieces between Louis Erard and AHCI maestro Konstantin Chaykin, and is presented in a limited edition of only 178 pieces. Housed within a 39mm black PVD stainless steel casing, the watch takes inspiration from Likho, the one-eyed monster from Slavic mythology whose spooky features dominate the display, creating an irresistibly ghoulish dial arrangement.

Manufactured from stainless steel, with a sandblasted and black PVD finish, the casing of the Time-Eater II 39mm watch has a rounded profile and a domed sapphire crystal, while a signature Chaykin crown puts the watchmaking Master’s stamp on the case, further elevating its character.

Against the matte black wave-textured dial, the red nuances of the indications stand out superbly. A single blood-shot eye revolves to indicate the hours, while the running seconds are gobbled up by a spinning star-wheel akin to a toothy mouth. Wiggling across the expanse of the dial, an unruly red hand points a defiant finger to indicates the minutes via a white scale at the dial perimeter, while a plaque at the top and bottom of the dial proclaims the provenance of this highly creative collaboration.

Viewable through a devilish red transparent sapphire crystal caseback, the elaboré grade Swiss made Sellita SW266-1 self-winding movement which powers the watch beats at a brisk 28’800vib/h and has a power reserve of a minimum of thirty-eight hours, maintained by the oscillations of the semi-skeletonised Louis Erard bespoke rotor.
