Introduced in 1931, the Reverso has become an enduring icon of Art Deco design and horological ingenuity. Originally conceived for polo players in British India, its unique reversible case protected the dial during play while giving rise to one of the most recognisable designs in watchmaking. The Tribute Monoface Small Seconds carries this heritage forward, blending vintage codes with contemporary refinement. This reference presents a stainless steel rectangular case measuring 45.6 x 27.4 mm, with a slim 8.5 mm profile and water resistance of 3 bar. The defining gadroons and swiveling case remain faithful to the original, while the deep green sunray dial offers a modern, vibrant twist. Applied indices, a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock, and polished dauphine hands enhance legibility and elegance.

At its heart beats the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822, a manually wound manufacture movement only 2.94 mm thick. Comprising 108 components and 19 jewels, the calibre operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and offers a 42-hour power reserve. The movement’s restrained dimensions allow the case to remain sleek and comfortable on the wrist, a hallmark of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s technical finesse. True to its origins, the reverse of the case is left plain, ready for personalisation or engraving, a discreet canvas that has become integral to the Reverso’s identity. This particular piece is pre-owned in mint condition, accompanied by its original box, papers, and warranty dated July 2022, and is further backed by an additional one-year TLE warranty for peace of mind.
