The Greubel Forsey GMT "The World is Mine" is a defining piece within the manufacturer's lineup, distinguished by its three-dimensional titanium globe at 7 o'clock, which doubles as a worldtime complication. This extraordinary feature is set within a 950 platinum case, paired with a rose gold main plate, making it both visually stunning and technically impressive. The globe is meticulously chiseled to represent the northern hemisphere, and it is encircled by a bi-color 24-hour ring that aligns each geographical area with its respective time. A unique sapphire crystal inlay curves around the side of the case, offering a view of the southern hemisphere, which completes one revolution per day.
Complementing the globe is a 24-hour sub-dial at 9 o'clock and an easily accessible pusher on the case. The dial, made of rose gold and housed in the 43.5 mm platinum case, also features running seconds, a power reserve indicator, and a tourbillon with a 25-degree incline that rotates every 24 seconds. The main time sub-dial is jet black with an inlaid brushed hour-ring, enhancing the time-telling aspect of the watch. The back showcases the 5N in-house movement with a 72-hour power reserve, covered by a large 24-hour disc that displays city names around a 24-hour ring, indicating both standard and summer times. This exquisite timepiece is pre-owned in new condition with papers and warranty dated 2024, is part of a limited edition of 22 pieces.
