Introducing a sensational guilloché dial of lagoon green to their collection, the Sarek Rissa watch by GoS is housed within a beautifully styled stainless steel casing, featuring unique nuances of Viking-inspired detailing. Meticulously finished throughout, this stunning new edition is powered by an automatic calibre by the acclaimed movement Manufacture La Joux-Perret, and comes presented on a handcrafted Moose leather strap. Exclusively limited in production to only five pieces per year, each Sarek Rissa model will be individually engraved with its own specific serial number.
The visual highlight of the GoS Sarek Rissa watch is its spectacular métiers d’art dial. Incredibly intricate in execution, the guilloché work is by master craftsman Jochen Benzinger who skilfully replicates the company’s Northern Lights pattern on the surface of each dial, resulting in a mesmerising motif of waves and swirls. Once the elaborate guilloché work is complete, the dial is then finished in the GoS workshop where an application of nano-ceramic, in a vibrant lagoon tone, is rendered by hand.
The company’s proprietary spear-shaped hour and minutes hands are in perfect contrast to the fine guilloché decoration of the dial, and are accompanied by a slender elongated seconds hand. In a final flourish, the index ring is of hand-blown Swedish crystal, and is recessed into the dial, with a hand-painted enamel coating applied beneath it.
Sized at 41.5mm, with a height of 11mm, the case of the GOS Sarek Rissa is manufactured from stainless steel. Upon its sides, the sculpted detailing, which is inspired by Viking bracelets, is finished with contrasting polished and satin techniques, while the hilt-shaped crown is a distinctive feature. Beating within, and viewable through a sapphire caseback, the G101 calibre has a frequency of 28’800 vib/h, and has a power reserve of 65 hours. Manufactured by La Joux-Perret to the requirements of GoS, the automatic calibre has a contemporary anthracite finish, and the skeletonised rotor is further embellished with the company’s distinctive Triskele symbol at its centre.
With a release of only 5 pieces per year, each Sarek Rissa model in this exclusive series will be hand engraved on its caseback denoting the model number of each watch, from 1 to 5 followed by the year of its production. The model comes presented on a hand-made Moose leather strap, secured with a steel pin buckle.
