Presented in a limited edition of only 25 pieces, the Angelus Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue edition watch is a stunning example of a contemporary sports watch. Featuring striking blue toned and openworked elements, the watch is housed within a complex 42.5mm carbon composite and titanium casing, beautifully executed with a satin finish, fitted with a sculpted notched bezel. This superb model wears on an integrated titanium bracelet and is powered by a new hand-wound flying tourbillon movement. The dial side showcases a three dimensional openworked labyrinth of blue toned bridges, with the flying tourbillon exposed at the six o’clock, a small seconds at the nine, and with the generous barrel displayed mid way between the twelve and one o’clock. Offering a spectacular illusion, the numerals appear to float on the flange, and after dark the arrangement is enlivened with lume enhancement. The exceptional equipoise of the dial architecture is complemented by a full disclosure of the meticulous finishing of the calibre through the rear sapphire crystal, where the circular structure of the bridges and the mainplate can be appreciated. Running at 28’800 vib/h, the new hand-wound A-310 calibre has a power reserve of 60 hours, and is finished with sunray-brushed and circular grained techniques. A superb addition to the portfolio of Angelus who have a significant history dating back to 1891, and a legacy rich with innovative mechanisms and complications, the Flying Tourbillon Titanium Blue edition watch comes presented on an integrated titanium bracelet, with leather and rubber interchangeable straps also supplied.
