A piece of awe inspiring finishing and captivating beauty, the FPSK22 Skeleton watch celebrates Felipe Pikullik’s mastery of hand skeletonisation, a skill to which he has shown commitment since the beginning of his career. Produced in a limited series of only five pieces, the FPSK22 displays the young watchmaker's flair for this meticulous craft in an impeccably executed and arranged setting.

Long before founding his own Berlin-based atelier which he established in 2017, Felipe Pikullik had already envisioned the perfect watch. Put simply, and in his own words, “I searched for a watch that suits my vision until I decided to build one myself”. An exciting addition to the independent watchmaking scene, Felipe has become renowned in the inner circle of collectors, who recognise that a fresh talent often matures quickly into a Master, and his immaculately crafted timepieces are decorated with a refinement which belies his youthfulness, and have a desirability enhanced by exclusivity.

Manufactured from stainless steel with a brushed and polished surface, the FPSK22 Skeleton features a trim bezel, flowing lugs and an ornate, fluted crown which is signed off with Felipe Pikullik’s initials in ceramic. The watch is equipped with a calibre based on a hand-wound ETA 6497-1 pocket watch movement, whose proportions are contained in the 41mm watchcase, and which Felipe has transformed using traditional skills of skeletonisation and hand decoration.

Entirely openworked and reduced to its essentia, the movement and dial become one entity with the time display via a hand-crafted, slender chapter ring featuring diminutive arabic numerals and markers, and with polished and black rhodium plated hands. Fully showcased on the dial side, the meticulous finishing of the movement’s components are revealed, with rose gold plating of the gears standing out against the black rhodium plated elements.

Through the rear of the case one can appreciate the reverse aspect of the movement, where in addition to the brushed finishing on the bridges and the immaculate hand bevelling and interior anglage around the edges of the bridges, the balance cock has been decorated with deep hand-engraving. A timepiece which is immaculately decorated and arranged, the FPSK22 has the assurance of exclusivity, and each model in this five piece limited edition comes presented on a leather strap secured with a stainless steel pin buckle. This particular timepiece is pre-owned in mint condition.
