Digitrend Open Sapphire

QTY :

A wonderful combination of futuristic and retro aesthetics, the Amida Digitrend Open Sapphire watch introduces a spectacular new panoramic time indication to the evolving collection of this exciting independent watch company. Shaped to recall iconic 1960s automobiles the case is evocative of a modern day driver’s watch and has astounding transparency, with three quarters of its curving profile manufactured from sapphire within a stainless steel frame.

Complex in the extreme, an entire day is devoted to the machining and finishing of each case and it perfectly showcases the components of the automatic Soprod calibre, and the in-house jump hour complication.

Lively flashes of orange give distinction to the transparent hour and minutes discs on the dial side, with an additional digital time display through a prism which reflects the time indicated on the discs, enabling a magnified vertical digital display on the case side. Almost at odds to the unconventional case and time indications, the exquisite Côtes de Genève and anglage visible on the mainplate are a touch of pure Haute Horlogerie, and the contrast of the traditional finishing with the avant garde styling of the model is superb.

Metal bracelet available at  CHF 300 VAT excluded or EUR 420 VAT included.
