Deep Raider Revival
?>Released in celebration of an iconic divers watch from the 1960s, the Favre Leuba Deep Raider Revival watch is brimming with nuances of vintage flair. Evoking perfect retro proportions, the rounded stainless steel case is sized at 39mm diameter with a height of 13.24mm, and it features a robust water resistance of 300m and a closed, engraved caseback. Although aesthetically faithful to the original archive piece, the automatic movement is thoroughly modern having been manufactured by the prestigious movement atelier La Joux-Perret, and beating at a rate of 28’800 vib/h it derives a power reserve of 68 hours.
Recalling the styling codes of the original 1964 piece, Favre Leuba have included a two-part unidirectional bezel consisting of a steel ring with a sapphire insert and a lumed triangular marker at the 12, while the box sapphire crystal continues the classic styling, giving a distorted side view of the face. Wonderfully muted against the ‘Old Radium’ toned elements, the grey toned dial surface has a brushed texture, while the elongated quarter indices and the equipoise of the branding, logo and script give further vintage distinction to the layout. A date window at the 4.30 position finishes the arrangement and after dark, the elements emit a vibrant green illuminated glow.
An incredibly stylish and unique piece, the Favre Leuba Deep Raider Revival watch
comes presented on an integrated five link bracelet secured with a butterfly clasp.
