The De Bethune DB28XP Kind of Blue is a masterful fusion of cutting-edge innovation and celestial artistry. A limited edition of just 22 pieces, this ultra-thin timepiece pays tribute to the brand’s iconic DB28 design while embracing the luminous intensity of blued titanium. The 43mm polished grade 5 blued titanium case measures a slim 8.5mm in thickness, enhanced by De Bethune’s signature floating lugs that adapt fluidly to the wrist for superior comfort. The crown at 12 o’clock and the mirror-polished delta bridge on the dial, reminiscent of the Starfleet insignia, are unmistakable De Bethune hallmarks. Crafted almost entirely from blued titanium, the multi-layered dial features a microlight guilloché pattern radiating from the exposed balance at 6 o’clock. Rose gold spherical hour markers and matching hands complement the blued titanium hour ring and satin-brushed minute track. The balance wheel, crafted from titanium with white gold inserts, is paired with a silicon escape wheel and held by a blued, mirror-polished transverse bridge.

Visible through the sapphire caseback is the in-house, hand-wound Calibre DB2115v12, composed of 247 parts and 36 jewels. Despite its slim profile, the movement delivers a robust 6-day power reserve via twin barrels and incorporates De Bethune’s patented innovations: a titanium balance with flat terminal curve balance spring, silicon escape wheel, and triple pare-chute shock-absorbing system. This timepiece is pre-owned in good condition and comes complete with its original box, papers, additional OEM rubber strap and warranty dated October 2024. An additional 1-year TLE warranty will be issued upon purchase for added peace of mind.
