Sized at 45 x 45cm the QLOCKTWO CLASSIC BLACK PEPPER has a black powder coated front cover with a superb matte aesthetic.
Winner of numerous prestigious design awards since 2009, QLOCKTWO have reimagined the format of time display though its colourful collections of wall clocks, desk clocks and even wristwatches, which are an ingenious alternative to conventional timepieces. Inventor of a unique genre of word clocks, QLOCKTWO verbalise the time in spectacular style through the media of light and words, portraying it in the manner in which we speak it ourselves.
The QLOCKTWO CLASSIC BLACK PEPPER is a highly versatile clock and can be mounted on the wall where it appears to float elegantly, or placed in the upright position upon its acrylic glass base. Held in place by magnets, its front cover can be easily changed with a multitude of options available for purchase as an accessory, and for a further artistic statement one can also purchase the coloured textile QUABLE which stages the power supply as a visible design element.
The QLOCKTWO concept is an equal part clock and modern art, and it utilises electronic technology to show the passing time via words instead of hands or numerals. Illuminated from behind by bright white LED, these letters form words, which speak the time in five-minute increments in text form rather than by hands which point to it. The minutes are shown with four little dots, with one at each corner which light up in sequence, before all going out again as the display rejigs itself to reveal the next five-minute mark. On activation, the Seconds Mode displays the seconds as large numbers inside the matrix, with the minute points in the corners still visible. Sensors adjust the light automatically to ambient light conditions, while there is also an option for manual brightness adjustment.
An excellent example of timeless, award winning design each QLOCKTWO CLASSIC BLACK PEPPER clock is handmade to the highest quality standards in Schwäbisch Gmünd Germany.
