Christopher Ward, a British brand, have launched their first chiming watch, the C1 Bel Canto boasting a distinctive appearance and design and featuring a "Sonnerie au Passage" Complication. The Grade 5 titanium case enhances the resonance and tone of the chime while ensuring extreme lightness with a water-resistance of up to 3 ATM. The striking mechanism is visible on the dial side, and the watch can be set to ring on every hour or turned off using a button at the 4 o'clock position. The black plate with a sunray finish and Super-LumiNova hour markers and hands enhance the watch's readability in low light. Powered by an automatic Sellita SW200-1 base movement and FS01 Calibre, which required the creation of 50 new components, with a power reserve of 38 hours and a frequency of 4 Hz, Limited to 300 pieces.
