Blending vintage aesthetics with contemporary elegance, the Favre Leuba Chief Date watch brings a touch of the 1970s to the wrist backed up by a superb automatic calibre by La Joux-Perret. Inspired by a piece from their rich archives, Favre Leuba have created a new time and date piece that retains the incredibly stylish feel of a 1970s cushion shaped case with the softened square profile of the housing further enhanced by circular and brushed techniques. Manufactured from stainless steel and sized at 40mm with a height of only 11.31mm, the casing embraces a stainless steel two link integrated steel bracelet, and has a robust water resistance of 100m lending it perfectly to daily wear.

The stunning grey dial is enlivened by a repeating hour glass motif and is fitted with gleaming rhodium plated hands and indices, which feature X1 grade blue superluminova giving excellent readability in poor light conditions, while the date window at the three o’clock is perfectly proportioned. Inside, and viewable through the rear sapphire crystal, the automatic FLD03 movement by the prestigious movement atelier La Joux-Perret has the refinement of Côtes de Genève decoration, and is equipped with a decorated custom skeletonised rotor. Beating at a frequency of 28’800 vib/h, the calibre has a power reserve of 68 hours.
