Black Moon
?>Representing a world first in watchmaking, the Black Moon watch by independent Swiss watchmaking company, Louis Moinet is a masterful demonstration of technical prowess and creative finesse. Presented in a limited edition of only 60 pieces, the watch features an aventurine dial base on which both the full moon and the new moon are displayed on a central dome using two meteorite samples derived from separate rocks giving it unparalleled rarity. Housed in a 40.7mm Grade 5 titanium case, which is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal to accommodate the three-dimensional arrangement of the dial, the time is via skeletonised hour and minutes hands, an arc-shaped seconds indication and an elevated chapter ring. Revealed through the rear of the watch, and partially visible on the dial side, the Manufacture automatic Calibre LM110, which was developed in collaboration with the prestigious movement Manufacture Concepto, has an exceptionally accurate moonphase with a deviation of only one day in 122 years.
