The L.Leroy Osmior “Bal du Temps” is a remarkable celebration of 240 years of horological excellence, unveiled at Geneva Watch Days 2025. This limited-edition timepiece exemplifies the pinnacle of Haute Horlogerie, combining the poetic elegance of historical inspiration with cutting-edge mechanical artistry. Housed in a 43 mm tambour-shaped case available in 18K 5N red gold, platinum, or grade 5 titanium, it features a proprietary hand-wound calibre L601SQ movement with two of watchmaking’s most prestigious complications: a flying tourbillon and a minute repeater.
The tourbillon cage, composed of 76 parts, completes a full rotation every minute and is adorned with a polished titanium bridge shaped into L.Leroy’s interlaced logo. The minute repeater, activated via a slide at 9 o’clock, audibly chimes the hours, quarters, and minutes with distinct tones, a tribute to the brand’s historic “à tact” watches.
The dial is open-worked to reveal the intricate mechanics, with each variant offering a unique aesthetic: anthracite with gold accents for the red gold model, ALD-treated light blue for the platinum version, and rhodium-plated silver with blue detailing for the titanium edition. A single central hour hand complements the acoustic minute indication, reinforcing the watch’s artistic concept of time as performance.
The timepiece is completed with a black alligator strap and a matching folding clasp featuring the brand’s double “L” logo. With a 90-hour power reserve and water resistance up to 3 ATM, the Osmior “Bal du Temps” is not just a watch—it is a symphony of craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation, destined for discerning collectors and connoisseurs.
