Debuting a world-first, the ArtyA Depth Gauge Blue watch displays an intuitive depth measuring dial wherein the colours disappear from view the deeper you dive. A timepiece which has earned a nomination in the divers watch category in the 2022 edition of the prestigious GPHG awards, the Depth Gauge watch exhibits ingenious design through its imaginative use of colour tones for the purpose of functionality, ensuring future iconic status for this model within the divers watch genre.

Presented as a limited edition of 99 pieces, the stellar feature of the ArtyA Depth Gauge Blue is without doubt its dial arrangement which is wonderfully simple, yet highly effective. Imagined by Yvan Arpa, who is himself a diving enthusiast, the colours of the dial display a depth measurement with an at a glance indication. Beginning with red on the outer edge of the rainbow-like arc on the upper sector of the dial, followed by orange, yellow, green and blue, each colour tone indicates depths ranging from 5m to 100m.

As the diver descends, red is the first to disappear at a depth of 5 metres, followed by orange at 15 metres and so on. Blue, the final colour on the spectrum becomes completely invisible at 100m, and thus the diver becomes aware that this depth has been achieved. Elsewhere the dial exhibits clean styling with an abundance of Swiss BGW9 Super LumiNova so that the readability of the hours, minutes, seconds and date is not compromised in poor light conditions.

The casing is of stainless steel, sized at 44mm across with a height of 14mm, and uniquely, it is fitted with a steel rotating bezel with a blue ceramic insert, in the form of a wave motif, which adds significant character to the model. Sealed to a water resistance of up to 300 metres, it has a guarded screw-in crown, inspired by the form of a submarine hatch.

Within, the exclusive Aion COSC certified automatic Swiss movement has a power reserve of 42 hours, beating at 28’800 vib/h, and is beautifully decorated with Côtes de Genève and with Rose Gold NAC.

Each model in this 99 piece limited edition comes presented on a blue rubber strap, enhanced with white stitching, and secured with a pin buckle in the shape of a drop of water.
