A piece of beautifully refined elegance with eye catching architecture and uncompromising hand finishing throughout, the new Tribute 1 Rose Gold by Armin Strom reimagines the brand's vision of the contemporary dress watch in the warm tone of 18ct rose gold which introduces a previously unseen level of sophistication to this superb collection.

Measuring an unassuming 38mm across, and coming in at just over 9mm tall, the compact proportions and minimalist aesthetics of the Tribute 1 Rose Gold belie a work of pioneering technical horologic innovation which beats within the confines of its rounded case. The grainy finish around the waist of the watch and on the surfaces of its lugs contrast with the polished detailing and bezels above and on the underside, while the crown at the two o'clock position complements the asymmetric layout of the dial area.

Here, beneath a subtle convex arc of sapphire crystal, the time is displayed on a decentralised dial which features applied rose gold coated indices which match the hour, minute and second hands. Defined by its circular azurage snailing and a polished band around its edge, it is slightly recessed against the grenage textured dial plate whose finish provides yet another discreet contrast with the black gold surface of the time display.

The Tribute 1 Rose Gold is powered by the fully in-house designed and developed AMW21 manual winding movement, a state of the art calibre which operates at 25,200 vib/h (3.5Hz), and which features Armin Strom's novel dial side motor barrel. Through this innovation, the mainspring's energy is released evenly and efficiently, over its remarkable 100 hours of power reserve, through the central arbour, upon which it rotates beneath one of the brand's distinctive signature skeletonised finger-like bridges. Like the barrel, the bevelled edges of the rose gold plated bridge are meticulously polished by hand to the uncompromising standards of haute horlogerie.

The sapphire caseback reveals an array of finishing techniques, including graining, polishing, sandblasting and perlage, and features beautiful Côtes de Genève striping on the three quarter plate outlined with immaculate anglage along its edges, as well as on the balance and escape bridges.

The Armin Strom Tribute 1 Rose gold is presented on a black alligator leather strap with folding clasp and is produced in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
