A fine example of mid-century Swiss chronograph design, this Angelus 2-Register Chronograph from the 1940s showcases the technical and aesthetic mastery for which Angelus became renowned. Housed in a 35mm stainless steel case with a smooth bezel, it remains faithful to its original construction, including the original bezel, crown, and case components. The watch is powered by the respected Caliber 215, a manual-winding 17-jewel movement, known for its reliability and smooth chronograph action. It features two chronograph subdials positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock and is triple signed—case, dial, and movement.

The original bronze/copper dial has aged beautifully to reveal a warm patina, accented by printed aged luminous Arabic numerals and tempered blued steel hands with luminous infill. The blued steel central chronograph hand adds a touch of vintage charm, complementing the tool-watch character of the piece. This chronograph comes on a new 18mm brown suede leather strap, offering a soft and comfortable fit while enhancing its vintage appeal. While it does not come with the original box or papers, the watch is in excellent working condition and maintains only original parts throughout. With its timeless design, authentic aged dial, and mechanical integrity, this Angelus 2-Register Chronograph is a compelling collector's piece from the golden age of Swiss chronograph watchmaking. We are pleased to offer a one-year additional warranty for added peace of mind.
