Limited to only 88 pieces, the Airain Type 20 Seconde/Seconde Up in the Air watch is a collaboration with renowned French artist Romaric André, also known as seconde/seconde. An imaginative take on the legendary pilot’s chronograph, the watch features a matte black dial on which the aeroplane porthole like subdials display pixelated 8-bit clouds, with the example on the left giving a subtle glimpse of the tip of the Eiffel Tower. Presented in a 39.5mm stainless steel case, fitted with a domed sapphire crystal and a bi-directional rotating bezel with 12 hour scale, the model has contrasting indications enhanced with beige Super-LumiNova, and is powered by the hand-wound Calibre AM1 developed by the prestigious movement Manufacturer La Joux-Perret, featuring a flyback chronograph complication.
