A timepiece of extraordinary historical significance, the Louis Moinet 1816 watch celebrates the very first chronograph ever created. Featuring numerous references taken from Louis Moinet’s Compteur de Tierces pocketwatch of 1816, this exceptional contemporary masterpiece follows the tri-compax dial arrangement of the original, and features a jumping minutes for precision measurement, and a scale for measuring the sixtieth of a second. A piece of exquisite refinement and complexity, the model debuts a new in-house fully integrated column-wheel chronograph manual winding movement, conceived specifically for this watch in collaboration with Concepto, with an uninterrupted view of its Haute Horlogerie decoration revealed through an exhibition caseback. Housed in a polished and satin-brushed 40.6mm grade 5 titanium case, the model is the first piece by Louis Moinet to be presented on an integrated bracelet.
