Over ninety percent of the 233 components required to make your Persée Douce clock have been manufactured by experts in the Jura region, the heartland of Swiss horology, and with exquisite finishing including chamfering on the cylindrical legs, polishing on the brackets and sandblasting on the needles and the bell of its striking mechanism, this elegant, contemporary example will be a fine addition to any collection.

Each Maison Alcée Persée Douce is presented in a custom-made box, containing the brass, stainless steel, aluminium and nickel components and all the professional tools required to assemble the piece, and with the pre-assembled regulator safely suspended within a membrane box. The colourful instructions provide expert guidance in the assembly of the piece which, once assembled, will have dimensions of 100x100x160 mm and a weight of 900 grams. Notably, the piece has an hourly striking complication, comprising of 17 components which can be activated or deactivated, and the exceptional high quality finishing of the components has been achieved by acclaimed craftsman, Thierry Ducret. Once finished, the clock indicates the hours, minutes and seconds via pink translucent lacquered hands and the manual winding movement operates at a frequency of 18’000 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of approximately 14 days.
