Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Chronometre

One of the definitive pieces in the Parmigiani Fleurier portfolio, the superb Toric Chronomètre combines several of the brand’s signature characteristics in one exceptionally fine wristwatch. With equal attention afforded to the minutiae of its aesthetics, as to the horological mastery which beats within, it is also its most enduring model and one of the first to herald a new era in modern independent watchmaking.

Presented in the classic combination of an 18Kt rose gold case with black dial, the Toric Chronomètre is distinguished and reserved. The bezel is stepped with rounded gadroons featuring a knurled inner circle, which has been the responsibility of a single engraver for more than twenty years. It’s an effect which really makes the watch stand out, and immediately it is clear that this is a step beyond the popular well known brands.

Beneath the gently curving sapphire glass, the immaculately appointed dial is superbly legible in all light environs, with fine white print for the minute markings and arabic hour numerals. The gold hands are ornate with the hours and minutes accented with Super-LumiNova, and at the six o’clock the date is displayed in a crescent window with gold border.

Inside, the automatic, self winding PF331 movement has been manufactured in house, and the sapphire caseback reveals the 18Kt gold rotor and the meticulous watchmaking for which Parmigiani Fleurier is renowned. With polished, rounded anglage defining its bevelled edges, screws which are deeply seated in perfectly polished chatons and Côtes de Genève striping it is an exquisitely appointed construction of mechanical horology. It has been calibrated and certified to COSC chronometer standards, and with its two barrels delivers 55 hours of reserve when fully wound.

The Parmigiani Fleurier Toric Chronomètre is presented on a black alligator leather strap with 18Kt folding deployant clasp.
