A striking edition with the exclusivity of a 178 piece limited release, the Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Label Noir watch displays a classical régulateur dial arrangement, but with a resolutely contemporary twist. An acclaimed model within the portfolio of Louis Erard, the Le Régulateur is a timepiece which has an effortlessly stylish personality due to its individualised time-telling dial arrangement. Created with the input of Label Noir, who are experts at artfully transforming the aesthetics of luxury wristwatches, this collaborative edition, which is clad almost entirely in black, makes a powerful statement upon the wrist.
The watch is housed in a rounded 42mm case of sandblasted and black PVD coated stainless steel. Adhering to the avant-garde styling codes of this edition, a darkened surface is laid out beneath the domed sapphire crystal, but with a vertical brushed satin finish its stealthiness is softened somewhat.
Retaining the traditional positioning of a 12-hour dial at the upper, a 60-seconds dial at the lower and with the minutes indicated via a central hand, the arrangement conforms to the perfect equipoise achieved on previous régulateur models, however the avant-garde pairing of inky black and vivid green elevates this piece giving it a modern character. Signature features such as the fir-tree hands for the hours and central minutes are, as always, a delightful inclusion, and with a polished finish on its surface the 12-hour dial at the topmost position stands out superbly.
Bringing the styling of the piece together, the excellent mix of bright green and brilliant white for the indices, complemented by the twin branding of Louis Erard and Label Noir in the same colour tones and a animated arrow-tipped seconds hand also in green, give this special edition a truly unique feel.
Revealed through a green sapphire crystal caseback, the Swiss made Sellita SW 2661 self-winding movement which powers the watch beats at a brisk 28’800vib/h and has a power reserve of a minimum of thirty-eight hours, maintained by the oscillations of the semi-skeletonised Louis Erard bespoke rotor.
A timepiece which boasts the exclusivity of a strictly limited release of 178 pieces, the Le Régulateur Louis Erard x Label Noir comes presented on a black nylon strap with green stitching, secured to the wrist by a steel pin buckle and with the usability of quick change strap bars, the strapping can be easily be exchanged.
