Cvstos Challenge Jet-Liner Carbon

Cvstos, established ten years ago, is one of the most interesting and creative new luxury watch-makers around. The brand name derives from the Latin, meaning “guardian”, which represents protecting the passion that fuels the designers’ creative process. Cvstos have always expressed themselves through radical design and engineering, and the Challenge Jet-Liner is no exception, with its unique approach mix of technical materials such as carbon fibre and refined metals such satin-finished steel and gold. This Challenge Jet-Liner limited edition takes watch-making straight into the diverse world of engineering, territory of the best luxury car makers and bespoke yacht and aircraft manufacturers. The impressive lacquered carbon patterns adorning the stainless steel of the 18K pink gold case are very contemporary, original and yet technical. They create a certain translucency which enhances the form and the shape of the iconic Cvstos Challenge case. Powered by the skeletonised CVSTOS CVS350 automatic winding movement, completed with a black plasma treatment and accurate rhodium finishing, depending on the execution, important features include a power reserve minimum capability of 42 hours and Super-LumiNova treated indices for easy low-light legibility. From The Limited Edition point of view, out of all the carbon editions out there on the market, the Cvstos Challenge Jet Liner is one of the finest examples. Unexpected details such as the refined carbon strap and carbon folding clasp are extremely rare to find at similar price levels. Limited to 50 pieces in carbon-gold and 100 pieces in carbon-steel, this limited edition timepiece can surely be described as one of the ultimate carbon collectibles.
