BOVET MISS AUDREY SWEET ART

An alluring timepiece which promises to enthral its wearer, the Bovet Miss Audrey Sweet Art watch boasts exuberant aesthetics and playful charm. Featuring a stunning and highly original artisan dial, the piece also enjoys the advantage of a fully convertible watch case beset with diamonds. The ultimate in wearable, functional luxury with a scintillating twist,  this award-winning timepiece gained the accolade of Winner of the Ladies Category at the prestigious Grand prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2020.

The Bovet Miss Audrey Sweet Art watch comes presented in the acclaimed convertible Amadéo watch case in stainless steel, set with diamonds on its bezel and bow and with sapphire cabochons on the crown and strap bolts.  Sized at 36mm across, the ingenious architecture of the case enables it to be transformed in an instant. Slip it from the wrist, remove the strap, and it can hang elegantly from the neck on the chain supplied. Or, alternatively, remove the strap or neck chain, and the caseback opens up to become a stand, thus turning the piece into a petite clock for use in the boudoir or atop a desk.

The dial of the watch is quite simply gorgeous. Created using pure sugar crystals which are combined with special paints, each tiny granule is hand-applied as a gem-setter would, until a delectable shimmering pavé has been achieved. An innovative process ensures that the distinct colour tone of the crystals will be unaffected by heat or light, so each of these miniature artworks will remain flawless for an eternity. Each tiny crystal is individually chosen for its size and colour tone, and this painstaking craftsmanship has engendered a collection enhanced by unique dials of various shades, some exhibiting duality, others which fade from one tone into another in a delightful dégradé.  Options include gradients of gold/pink, black/green, blue/grey and black/blue blended tones, but at the discretion of the client, Bovet will create a combination of colours on request.

Allowing the tantalising textured sparkle of the surface to dominate, the dial is bereft of numerals and the only embellishment is a pair of exquisite demi-heart hands which serve to indicate the hours and minutes. For just a few minutes each hour, the pair unite, to form a perfect heart shape, and this beguiling little detail adds further to the fanciful character of this special model. The piece is powered by the Bovet Manufacture Calibre 11BA15 automatic winding movement.  Beating at 28’800 vph it has a convenient power reserve of 42 hours.

An outstanding timepiece which demonstrates the creativity of this Grand Maison of Independent Watchmaking, the Bovet Miss Audrey Sweet Art has an artisan character, a romantic soul and a Haute Horlogerie heartbeat. With a guarantee of uniqueness for every dial, due to the hand-crafted processes, and with the options of bespoke colour choices, the wearer will have the added assurance that her piece will be like no other. The watch wears on a full-grain alligator leather strap in a shade to complement the dial, secured to the wrist with a stainless steel ardillon buckle. Every piece also comes presented with a pearl or rhodium-plated silver chain.
