Designed in collaboration with the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Team Six, the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon DEVGRU Ref NM3200C-SJ-BKRD is an impressive timepiece which is built to withstand even the most extreme conditions.  Although robust in character, this model is also highly suited to daily wear, thanks to its handsome styling.

The piece carries a 42mm stainless steel case, with a patented anti-shock system which ensures the safety of the movement, enabling it to retain accuracy even after a major impact.  On the right, the company’s patented crown protection system adds heftiness to the profile of the watch but, despite its utilitarian character, contrasting finishes ensure that this is still a beautifully executed watch case.

Within this solid housing, a handsome black dial sits beneath tough sapphire with supreme scratch resistance.  Here, functionality is the priority, with chunky hour and minutes hands and hour markers which have been designed for legibility.

Incorporated into the dial, H3 tritium gas filled tubes, which promise to emit a piercing glow in low light environs, ensure that after-dark this piece offers its wearer incredible readability.

Elsewhere, a slender red-tipped seconds hand conforms to the vivid red ring at the outer dial, both adding a vibrant pop of colour. And, at the 3 o’clock location, a double date window takes up position.

Boasting accuracy and reliability, the Ball Watch Engineer Hydrocarbon DEVGRU Ref NM3200C-SJ-BKRD is powered by a Swiss-made Ball Calibre with automatic winding, which enables a power reserve of 38 hours.   The movement has been sealed securely for water-resistance of up to 100m.  The piece is a limited edition of 1000 pieces and comes presented on a stainless steel bracelet.
