Taking its place within the prestigious ladies portfolio of Arnold and Son, the Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide watch showcases the most charming of all watchmaking complications, the moonphase. Crafted in a style that reflects the company’s passion for both technically masterful watchmaking, and for artisanship, the watch features a dial of exceptional visual depth beauty.

Achieved entirely by hand with meticulous gemsetting and artistic panache, slivers of mother-of-pearl marquetry combine with wavy bands of ruthenium to create an illusion of the moonlight shimmering upon a high ocean tide. An array of ruthenium crystals decorate the moon disc that peeps from behind a night sky of tinted mother-of-pearl on which the luminescent constellations have been hand painted, and to finish, five marquise-cut diamond hour markers have been positioned on the upper dial.

The watch is presented in a 38mm rounded case of 18ct. white gold with a height of 10.44mm.  Promising fiery resplendence with every subtle movement of the wrist, its bezel, horns and crown have been embellished with 80 brilliant-cut white diamonds.

A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the decoration and hand finishing which has been applied throughout the A&S1612 manual winding movement. A technical masterpiece, which has a depth of only 4.95mm, it boasts a moonphase so accurate that if the watch is kept constantly wound, it will maintain an accuracy of 122 years. Equipped with a 90 hour power reserve, it is impeccably finished with radiating stripes of Côtes de Genève on the mainplate, polished and chamfered bridges, and circular brushed wheels.

The Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide watch by Arnold and Son is presented on a satin-feel sky-blue leather strap, with plumb purple leather lining, secured with an 18ct. white gold pin buckle set with 22 brilliant-cut white diamonds.
